RSYS Sustainability

At the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, we recognise the opportunity we have to champion sustainability and social diversity initiatives. 


Led by our Environmental Sustainability Committee, we are actively implementing various environmental initiatives across all RSYS operations. Current actions include energy-saving measures, circular economy practices for waste reduction, water conservation efforts, and eco-friendly chemical usage. 


In addition to sustainability, our club is dedicated to fostering social diversity through programs like the Ladies of the Sea. This initiative aims to empower women in sailing with female-only Discover Sailing Courses, Ladies Tuesday Twilights, and the Ladies of the Sea Coaching Regatta.
