SKP Members Max Paul, Brooke Wilson and Max Paul have just wrapped up racing at Balboa Yacht Club, after a huge week competing in the fiercely contested Governor’s Cup.

The Cup is a highly contested trophy that invites teams from all around the world to compete against elite youth sailors. Our team placed 7th overall.

Skipper Max Paul writes, “We had an awesome time on and off the water at Balboa Yacht Club and really enjoyed competing against the best U23 teams in the world.



We are happy with the way we sailed on the last few days having a solid second Round Robin and some close matches in the sail-offs to finish in 7th overall.


Unfortunately, it felt like everything that could go wrong went wrong on the first two days, but that’s sport.

We’re looking forward to getting back into action for the Grand Slam at the end of August.
