Today marks the beginning of National Volunteer Week from 15 – 21 April. We are incredibly lucky to have such a generous team of volunteers across all aspects of our Club and we would like to extend our warmest thanks to the many Members who generously give their time and expertise to RSYS.



In sailing, our volunteers conduct equipment audits, hear protests, staff race committee vessels and oversee race management. Our Divisional Representatives also play a vital role, in informing the Committee of their fleet’s racing suggestions.



Our Youth sailing volunteers not only manage the Academy racing, they launch and retrieve dinghies, run the BBQ and support new families travelling to external events.



On land, our many sub-committees oversee every area of Member activities, encompassing elections, bridge, food and wine, entertainments, the Logbook, archives and many more!

Sub Committees include:
Sailing, Youth Dinghy, Cruising Division, Annual Cruise, Logbook, Finance, Waterfront, Intermediates, Bridge, Membership, Election, History & Archives, Sustainability, Marketing & Communications, Asset Management and House Committees.
