Magpie wins Milson Silver Goblets

Magpie EAUS1474 skippered by Graeme Taylor has won this year's Goblets with a lead of just one point over reigning World Champion Iain Murray in Havoc EAUS1473. The regatta was hosted by the Etchells Sydney Fleet at the Squadron from 18-22 November and attracted 17 entries.

The final race on Friday 22 November was abandoned when a storm hit Sydney Harbour. Therefore the final results from the previous day stood: Graeme Taylor with Ben Lamb and James Mayo (pictured above) on Magpie came 1st overall; 2nd Havoc Iain Murray, Colin Beashel and Richie Allanson; with Jeanne-Claude Strong's Flying High in 3rd in a fleet of 17. 

The Corinthian trophy was won by Squadron Member Matt Whitnall's Synergy.
