Last Friday night RSYS hosted the Combined Clubs Inshore Series Presentation. The series was introduced in the 2020-21 season and brings together fleets from Middle Harbour Yacht Club, Manly Yacht Club, RANSA, Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club and Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron.



With mixed division inshore racing fleets diminishing at all clubs, the concept was to provide better racing for competitors with more boats on the start line and introducing variety, using the full extent of Sydney Harbour for racing.



In the 2023-24 the Vaucluse Yacht Club also joined in, and 75 boats participated across four racing divisions. As well as providing larger fleets and more competition across each division the clubs involved share race management responsibilities. We recognise and thank the principal race officers and their teams from each of the clubs:

Teams from all of the clubs joined us at RSYS for the annual presentation followed by dinner in the Careening Cove Anchorage. A special recognition and thank you was also passed on to Margaret Fraser-Martin who, in a volunteer capacity joins the start boat for each race and provides photographs for all clubs to use for their own promotion of sailing.
