Powerboating Courses
Start Powerboating - Wednesday 29 January & Saturday 1 February
The Start Powerboating course is an introductory boating course offering both theory and on-water boat handling instruction. This 12 hour course is suitable for students and adults from 12 years upwards with an emphasis on safety and boat training.

The online component of this course will be conducted on Wednesday 29 January 2025 at 1800-2100. Participants will be sent a link to the webinar once registered. The practical component will be conducted at RSYS on Saturday 1st February 2025 at 0830-16.30.

Powerboat Handling - Wednesday 5 March & Saturday 8 March
This day course is designed to improve your boat handling skills, especially in confined areas such as marinas and in swell/waves. You will also learn more about engines and types of craft and practice navigation techniques on a passage. The Powerboat Handling course is a great follow up to the introductory Start Powerboating course and provides both theory and on-water boat handling instruction. This course is suitable for students and adults from 12 years upwards who already have their Powerboat license.
