Pam Williams IWD breakfast

Starting on 06 March 2020 07:30:00

International Women's Day Breakfast
with Pamela Williams, journalist

Join us to mark this occasion and for a unique opportunity to hear Pamela Williams, the Walkley-awarded investigative journalist and author.

Pamela is one of Australia’s most decorated journalists, winning six Walkley Awards including the Gold Walkley, and also the Graham Perkin Journalist of the Year award. She is the author of two best-selling books: The Victory, and Killing Fairfax - which won the Walkley’s Book of the Year.

Pamela has worked for The Australian Financial Review newspaper for most of the last 30 years. Along the way she also spent over three years at The Australian and two years as an Executive Producer of the ABC’s 7.30 Report.

And yet, Pamela’s early struggle to enter journalism and build a career is a familiar but inspiring story of over-coming barriers.

Hear Pamela talk about some of this and offer advice on 10 top things she has learned along the way.
