Created in 2005, Mollydooker wines are truly unique. Their wines are known for their awesome colour, flavour and soft velvety tannins which are the result of their own watering program researched over 30 years. The wines have had nothing short of sensational reviews from local wine writers and the USA, scoring five 99 point scores from Wine Advocate; the Carnival Of Love Shiraz was listed three times in Wine Spectator’s Top Ten Wines in the World.

They have been awarded Australian Winemakers of the Year, Australian Boutique Winemakers of the Year, Australian White Winemakers of the Year, McLaren Vale Bushing King and Queen a record breaking three times and their wines have been chosen as #1 in Australia and #2 in the world. They are a down to earth family who loves to share their passion. The vineyards are situated on the magical Seaview Ridge, which with its ancient soils and Mediterranean climate, is home to some of the most iconic Australian wines. They have three separate vineyards – Long Gully Road, Coppermine Road and the Home Blocks, giving them a total of 116 acres of Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot. All grapes are grown sustainably.

Matt Willmer from Mollydooker will be our guide on the night, talking about McLaren Vale, Mollydooker and the wines. Matched to a three course menu of entrée, main and cheese – Members will get to try some of Mollydooker’s iconic wines including the famed Carnival of Love, RSYS’s favourite Blue Eyed Boy and Mollydooker’s flagship, Velvet Glove. 

Members wishing to purchase some Mollydooker can fill in an order form on the night and go into the draw for a Mollydooker prize.
