Combined Clubs Winter Series

Sydney Harbour Combined Clubs Winter Series

Regularly attracting upwards of 40 boats across three Sydney Harbour Yacht Clubs.
Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, Royal Prince Edwards Yacht Club and Royal Australian Navy Sailing Association will collaborate in running a Combined Clubs Winter Series each Saturday.

Tuesday Twilights

Tuesday Twilight Series
Regularly attracting upwards of 35 boats, the Tuesday Twilights continue to grow in popularity for the community atmosphere and spectacular sailing on an almost empty harbour. After racing, Members and their guests are invited to the Careening Cove Anchorage for dinner. Reservations are essential!

RPEYC Wednesday Series

RPEYC Wednesday Series
Hosted by the Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club (summer) and the Royal Australian Navy Sailing Association (winter), this popular non-spinnaker series is run almost every Wednesday afternoon. The series draws more than 60 boats and sailors from around the Harbour are encouraged to participate. After racing, RSYS Members and their guests are invited to enjoy the RSYS Clubhouse.

Thursday Twilight Series

RSYS Thursday Twilight Series
Join the Club's latest twilight series on one of the Harbour’s quietest nights. This series is perfect for sailors who cannot attend the Friday Twilights, for sailors interested in building their skills within a smaller fleet or for sailors looking for another excuse to get out on the water!

PONANT Friday Twilight

PONANT Friday Twilight Series
End your week with one of Sydney’s most popular twilight series. Our PONANT Friday Twilights regularly attract over 60 boats across five divisions and is a non-spinnaker event to promote Member’s inviting their families and friends. After racing, all sailors are invited to gather for dinner at the Careening Cove Anchorage - it’s always packed so reservations are essential.

Enjoy competitive harbour-course racing as part of our Spring/Summer series. With up to 60 yachts competing across multiple divisions, this popular Saturday series is great for both novice and experienced racers. Post-racing join all our Saturday sailors at the Careening Cove Anchorage for food and drinks.

Combined Clubs Inshore Series

Combined Clubs Inshore Series
A collaboration between five of Sydney's major yacht clubs, the Combined Club Series brings the thrill of big fleet racing to Sydney Harbour. Growing in popularity this series also provides an opportunity for yachts to race against sailors from outside the RSYS fleet.

Mini Regatta Series

Mini Regatta Series
Quick and high-quality is the focus of our Mini Regatta series with up to three races per day. The series is held approximately every two weeks and is open to the One Design classes. The Mini Regatta series is a great opportunity for experienced sailors and newer sailors keen to practice their racing skills.

This series will be held as part of the RSYS Mini Regatta series and offers Members the opportunity to qualify for the upcoming Etchells World Championship 2024 in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Sunday Family Twilights

RSYS Sunday Twilights
Our family-focused Sunday twilights are a relaxing way to end the weekend on the water with a simple twilight course and pursuit start. There are two divisions,non-spinnaker yachts and one-design spinnakers. Members can also hire a Club Elliott 7s for a race or the entire series. After racing, all sailors are invited to the popular RSYS Pizza Nights in the Careening Cove Anchorage.

Did you know, if a boating accident occurs in any port or navigable water in NSW, the master of the vessel must (a) stop the vessel immediately and (b) give assistance if required. Keep up to date with all NSW Maritime rules and advice using the links below.
